Zipcar is a car-sharing service that allows members to rent vehicles by the hour or day. It operates in cities and on college campuses across North America and Europe. Zipcar offers a convenient alternative to traditional car ownership. Members can book cars online or via the mobile app. The service includes gas and insurance in the rental price. Promotional offers often target new members or specific membership tiers. Be aware that some promotions may have geographic restrictions or apply only to certain vehicle types. Check the details of any offer carefully before applying it to your membership.
Membership discounts are typically applied during the signup process. Look for a field labeled 'Promo Code' or 'Referral Code' on the application form and enter the offer details there.
Most Zipcar membership discounts, especially introductory offers, apply only to the initial membership period. Subsequent renewals are usually charged at the standard rate unless a specific recurring promotion is advertised.
Generally, new member discounts are not applicable to existing memberships. However, Zipcar occasionally offers promotions for current members, which will be clearly stated in the offer details.
The Zipcar membership fee covers access to the vehicles, gas, insurance, and maintenance. You pay for the time you use the car, with mileage often included up to a certain limit.
Zipcar locations are available in many urban areas and on university campuses. You can find the nearest Zipcar location and available vehicles using the Zipcar app or by checking their website.
